Where is Demmitt Hall?
It is located near Demmitt, Alberta, about 1 hour North-West of Grande Prairie. It is on the corner of Range Road 132 and Township Road 745, just South of Highway 43.
What time should I arrive?
We recommend arriving approximately 20–30 minutes before the ceremony begins to allow plenty of time to find your seat and get settled. Please refer to your invitation for the ceremony start time.
Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?
Our ceremony and reception are planned to take place indoors at Demmitt Hall. As it will be early May in Alberta, we recommend bringing a jacket or coat for travelling to and from the venue.
Is there parking available?
Parking is available at Demmitt Hall. We recommend allowing a little extra travel time, particularly if you are unfamiliar with the area.
Will there be alcohol served?
Yes! We will be offering a selection of carefully chosen wines at each table to enjoy with dinner, complimentary for all guests. A variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including water, pop, coffee, tea, and punch, will also be available free of charge throughout the celebration.
Each guest aged 18 and over will also receive one complimentary drink token to use at the bar. Additional bar drinks will be available for $6 each, so please bring cash if you would like to purchase any drinks beyond your complimentary token. Table wine and all non-alcoholic beverages will remain complimentary.
Please note: Outside alcohol is not permitted on the venue grounds, with the exception of guests camping overnight, who may enjoy their own beverages at their campsite near their camper. Outside alcohol may not be brought into the hall or wedding festivities.
Can I take photos during the ceremony?
We would love for everyone to be fully present during our ceremony. We kindly ask guests to put away phones and cameras during this time. You're more than welcome to take personal photos during the reception!
